Curriculum vitae
- Born in 1981 in Geneva, Switzerland. Mother is Danish, father is Austrian.
- Raised in Denmark and completed the training as a florist there.
- Attended the Art Academy Schloss Engelsholm in Denmark in 2001/2002, majoring in ceramics, painting, and sculpture.
- Moved to Austria in 2002.
- Gained valuable experience as a florist in Vienna, Salzburg, and Upper Austria.
- Discovered Traunsee / Salzkammergut in 2007 and relocated here.
- In 2012, completed the florist master’s examination in Innsbruck under Nicole von Boletzky.
- Passed the entrepreneurial examination in Gmunden.
- Since 2013, founder and owner of Atelier Cigler in Gmunden am Traunsee.
Heidi T. Cigler
Born between lakes and mountains, and raised amidst fjords, islands, and the vast sea, these fascinating landscapes have left an indelible mark on her life, inspiring and granting her a cosmopolitan perspective. The passion for flowers was instilled in her from an early age. Growing up in her parents’ nursery, she quickly realized that she wanted to become a florist. At the same time, painting and drawing were always essential parts and companions throughout her life. Thus, it comes as no surprise that she skillfully and uniquely combines all her talents and knowledge today.
